Girl crush lyrics

I got a girl crush
Hate to admit it but
I got a heart rush
Ain’t slowing down
I got it real bad
Want everything she has
That smile and that midnight laugh
She’s giving you nowI want to taste her lips
Yeah, ’cause they taste like you
I want to drown myself
In a bottle of her perfume
I want her long blonde hair
I want her magic touch
Yeah, ’cause maybe then
You’d want me just as much
I got a girl crush
I got a girl crushI don’t get no sleep
I don’t get no peace
Thinking about her
Under your bed sheets
The way that she’s whispering
The way that she’s pulling you in
Lord knows I’ve tried,
I can’t get her off my mindI want to taste her lips
Yeah, ’cause they taste like you
I want to drown myself
In a bottle of her perfume
I want her long blonde hair
I want her magic touch
Yeah, ’cause maybe then
You’d want me just as much
I got a girl crush
I got a girl crush
Hate to admit it but
I got a heart rush
It ain’t slowing down

While many fail to know the real meaning of this song,I would like to tell you what I feel about it. This song isn’t about liking a girl cause you love her. It’s about liking the girl cause the guy you love, loves her. It’s about being that girl, having her smell, eyes and blond hair so that the guy you like wants you just as much as he wants her. These are very beautifully woven words which give us a deep meaning. ‘I’ve got a heart rush,it ain’t slowing down’. The restless heart, our whole mind comes o an unease. The anxiety and restlessness we all have felt. ‘I wanna drown myself in the bottle of her perfume’. I want to smell like her so that he loves me as much he does love her. This is so beautiful. ‘I want it real bad, want everything she has’ to have all of it,so that I’m loved more. ‘Maybe then you would love me just as much,I’ve got a girl crush’. It’s concluded all of the pain and unattainable desires in this line. We want so much knowing we may not get it. But it’s an insatiable thirst. We want everything to be loved. It’s a feeling that people feel who cross the boundaries to unite with love. This song has a cover by Harry styles which is very great too. Listen to it,you’ll love it.

Harry styles’ music

Woke up alone in this hotel room
Played with myself, where were you?
Fell back to sleep, I got drunk by noon
I’ve never felt less coolWe haven’t spoke since you went away
Comfortable silence is so overrated
Why won’t you ever be the first one to break?
Even the phone misses your call, by the way. I saw your friend that you know from work
He said you feel just fine
I see you gave him my old T-shirt
More of what was once mine. I see it’s written, it’s all over his face
Comfortable silence is so overrated
Why won’t you ever say what you want to say?
Even my phone misses your call, by the way. Maybe one day you’ll call me and tell me that you’re sorry too
Maybe one day you’ll call me and tell me that you’re sorry too
Maybe one day you’ll call me and tell me that you’re sorry too
But you, you never do. Woke up the girl who looked just like you
I almost said your name. We haven’t spoke since you went away
Comfortable silence is so overrated
Why won’t you ever say what you want to say?
Even my phone misses your call
We haven’t spoke since you went away
Comfortable silence is so overrated
Why won’t you ever say what you want to say?
Even my phone misses your call, by the way. -from ——-the dining table by Harry styles

This is one of my favourite songs by Harry styles. I don’t know how to say it but this song will hit you hard. The melody is so simple yet soothing. Listening to this song felt like feast to my ears. Calm voice with pleasing beats. i couldn’t resist myself listening to this song over and over again. the pain could be felt through his voice. Seemed like he wanted some one to hear this. This song is more of a cry,for love,an old love. Harry styles is my favourite artist,I have listened to all his songs. From a rock-pop like kiwi to songs like sign of times and she or cherry that can make our hearts cry,it’s all so beautifully woven into words. But there is something distinct about this song. About ‘comfortable silence’,isn’t it relatable? Too much to say,yet we are hesitant. We get distant from what we want the most, circumstances, our actions and consequences. We keep it in our hearts when should say it out,we let it bother us,till we break down. ‘One day you’ll call me and tell me you’re sorry too,but you never do’. Break the silence, break it before it’s too late. We’re young, indecisive and tender. If we break,we’ll heal too.The emotion of this song is ineffable, and the way it has been expressed through the music is out of the world. It’s brilliantly pleasing. While to some This song may also create a certain melancholy but to some the message maybe beautiful. Harry’s voice is euphonious. Listen to it. And feel the pain that’s being conveyed. It may have different meanings to different people, but I think, the best way to listen to a song and understanding what the singer is trying to say is,by listening to your heart, you can lie to yourself by your heart won’t. Feel love, pain, emotion but most importantly feel yourself in music.

Preserve nature’s bounty

The Earth has got enough for everyone’s need, but not for everybody’s greed, truly said Mahatma Gandhi. I consider this nature, a realm of ingenuinity, with a captivative panorama made for all of us to adore. Nature always wears the colour of spirit, a spirit which symbolises its beauty. Nature is pleased with its simplicity which creates the life and invite us humans to glority its significance. It is always said that the Earth has music for all those who listen, but I say that the nature is the one who allures us to actually hear it. To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles. Not just to use nature’s beauty but to preserve it is also our duty. The birds who chirp, the flowers which bloom, the creatures who crawl, the sun which shines are all natures creations, and so are we.
We see the daffodils, beneath the trees fluttering and dancing in the breeze, we indeed are forced to admire the scene. We will find peace nowhere but between the firm and silent mountains or in the solacing lap of the meadows which harmonise our mind and body and inturn enhances focus and inner peace such views give us a glimpse of camaraderie and bonhomie amongst the nature. So let us pledge to esteem our nature and conserve its resources. Let us pledge to plant a tree in this beauteous domain of our earth called nature.

Population growth: demographic dividend or burden

To start off I would like to quote a dictum that a finite world can support only a finite population, therefore it makes clear that population will have to be managed. World will soon be over populated if self production of man isn’t rationalised. The world has seen an immense growth in population since 1950. India is the second most populous country in the world .Foran overpopulated country like India where population is being considered a burden as for now, there is a possibility that the population may grow beyond sustainability and increasing population can also lead to shortage of resources as result.

David Suzuki rightly said,

‘’rapid population growth and technological innovation, combined without lack of understanding about how natural systems of which we are part of works has created a mess”.

With rapid increase, the most daunting task will be to increase employmentopportunities in India for growing labour force every year but to also reduce the backlog of unemployment rate of previous year. The current population of India is 1.35 billion and amongst these 73 million of people live in extreme poverty with estimated 13.6 million unemployed people, and if we do the math upcoming years will definitely put a baneful effect on Indian economy if ways aren’t found to boost economy and use population as capitaland to add salt to the wound during COVID-19 lockdown, the unemployment rate in India has risen to 11.5 percent!. Global warming and pollution are some of the biggest threats to the environment, in 2017 USA emitted 6.5 million metric tons of greenhouse gases alone with a population of 32.51 crores. If the world population increases ,the increase in demand and consumption will lead to more exploitation of the finite resources which took thousands of years to make, as population growth stresses the supply of resources . The UN has predicted the world population to boost to 9.7 billion by 2050 and if heads aren’t joined to find a solution to it, population growth would turn out to be a major crisis. The U.S Census Bureau predicts that by 2030 the number of older Americans will outnumber the children. Thus there will be less people working which means that the labour force will decrease and more elderly people will rely on government sponsored programs which will have a negative effect on country’s economy.

Developing country like India is an archetype of deprivation of human quality of life due to increasing population. Rapid increase in population will also effect the quality of infrastructure, healthservice, housing, sanitation, water supply, roads etc. One of the most serious effects of population growth is saving and investment and the rate of capital formation in country. India’s population has been growing 2.2 percent per year which puts burden on financial resources to feed and provide for teeming of millions, especially unproductive consumers. Many countries with rapidly growing youth populations are struggling already to educate their young people while Some countries inspite of having high per capita income areanticipating rapid growth in numbers of youth are among those with very high youth unemployment rates. For example countries like Jordan ,Iraq and Saudi Arabia have high youth unemployment rates and youth population is expected to grow by 20 percent in upcoming years. Considering all these facts economists still believe that countries like India and Chinahave potential to reap a major “demographic dividend”.

The importance of channelizing the potential of youth for a full realisation of demographic dividend is evident in comparison of recent trends in population age structure and youth employment and gross domestic product(GDP) per capita in Tunisia and Republic of Korea. The ability of countries to harness demographic dividend depends critically on their investments in human capital, particularly amongst young people poised to enter the labour force by way of enhancing their skills etc. and only then their productivity ,entrepreneurship and innovation will drive future economic growth. If youth is provided with sufficient education, training and jobs then even their growing numbers would turn out to be beneficial and nations would reap the benefits of such human capital ,but this totally depends upon our policy makers and strategies a country adopts. Finally Its up to the Countries to make its ‘Growing Population – a demographic dividend or aburden’.
